Platforms, dearie

  craycray amazing omg platforms.

This Nina Ricci Insane/Perfect Platform is #6 in style.com's top ten spring shoes. Most of their picks were bleh...But this...it's like walking on the 90s, 70s, 60s, and 40s all at once. This is no plain Mary Jane. They pry cost a bajillion dollars, but I can still marvel. (A bajillion dollars is waaaaay too much to spend on shoes, dearie.) Also can we talk about this baby pink, kelly green, navy blue combo? I've never been much for kelly green, but in this color sandwich it works suprisingly well. Tra la la I love colors.

I wish I could pinch Marilyn Monroe.

SOME LIKE IT HOT:
Why I want to pinch Marilyn Monroe's cheek and steal (ok borrow) her dress.

Some Like it Hot is one of my favorite movies of all time. It has Marilyn Monroe, men in drag, mobsters and more. Rent it, netflix it, download it, borrow it. I promise it stands the test of time. If you are one of those people who say you 'hate old movies' this might change your mind a teensy bit. Marilyn's wardrobe is simply delicious. Fashion nerds should watch it just for that.

AMAZING THINGS
in the following clip:
1. Marilyn's Charm and sex kittenishness when she sings
2. Her 'assets' in her dress
(aka her breasts, the girls, her ample bosom.)
3. Her silky smooth voice
4. Jack Lemmon being hilarious
5. A hotel porter doing a BOW TIE trick! Eeeep!
6. Men in Drag
7. Marilyn's SEQUINED VERY SHEER DRESS
8. Marilyn singing 'Boo Boo Bee Doop'. I just wanna pinch her cheek in that moment. She walks that line of sexy cute funny wanton ironic innocent drop dead sexy constantly. Oh, and If you never realized who a certain cartoon named Betty was satirizing, then here is it.
