Nail Game: Lady Sings the Blues Navy Sparkle

Ok so I love pastel colored Spring nails. But I decided to mix it up and use this Deborah Lippmann Midnight Navy nail polish. I find that her nail polishes are a bit expiz, but they are also really unique colors and they last a really long time. This color is a midnight navy blue with sparkles called "Lady Sings the Blues". Puts me in a Billie kinda mood. Perfect for a lazy Sunday don't-mind-if-I-do kind of feeling. I like the dark nails in the spring. I love to pair dark colors with light floral prints.

There is something about breaking seasonal rules that makes my inner fashion nerd jump for joy.

Burgundy in the summer? Coral in the winter? Navy in the spring? Pastels in the Fall? Yes Please!

Nail Game: Teal Soiree. Metallic Teal with Glitter Tips Manicure.

Start with three coats of Aldo Nailpolish in Royal Mint. Let Dry. Paint the tips with some swipes of Art Club Nail Art Laquer in NA25 Hologram (got it at duane reade).
Finally fill in the tips with Deborah Lippman in Happy Birthday.

Oh you FANCY huh.

Nails did, hair did, everything did.

These are actually those Sally Hansen nails, that come in a box. They look like stickers, but they are real nail polish, and you take them off with nail polish remover. This is the lace pattern.

P.s. I promise this isn't a paid ad or promotion. I don't really care about Sally Hansen, but I do love making my nails look like they are wearing a fancy dress.
In case you wanna try 'em, they have a ridiculously long moniker. (Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips) and are around 6 bucks. Beats a $50 NY manicure any day.
