Those apples didn't know what hit 'em.

For our One year Anniversary, mi amor and I went APPLE and PUMPKIN picking! It was the perfect fall getaway. The leaves were changing, we ate way too many apples, found two HUGE pumpkins (Halloween pumpkin carving amazingness to be posted soon), and had lovely smooches on top of a mountain by a lake!

So many apples, so much nommmmin. I also just got my OWN new baby Camera, so I got a weensy bit obsessed with photography.

But basically, what you need to know is that we picked the SH*T out of those APPLES. They didn't even know what hit them. We also carried on our annual tradition of High-Fiveing after each apple we picked. We also made an amazing discovery. Apple Cider Donuts are like: if churros got down with fresh apples, and then went to heaven. Weird, I know, but nothing can get close to the dangerously delicious taste of APPLE CIDER DONUTS....nomnomnom.

On the Road

This old tree stump refused to answer my questions, but we got along okay.

Seriousssssly.

Minard Farms Inc. Where it's at for apples.

Me, trying my hardest to be a shipment of apples

 Outfit Report:
Brown cowl infinity Scarf I got at H&M 2 yrs ago in MTL. Black Peacoat: no joke, Anne Taylor faux fur peacoat from Burlington coat Factory last winter on a coat hunt with Karl. Brown Circle Skirt with Roses: Jones New York Thrifted at LA Goodwill for 5 bucks! The Teal Bow Tie Blouse: I found this soft 100% cashmerrre at Beacon's Closet with mi madre. The Black Leather Boots I've had for 2 years, and I think I bought em' new at Nordstroms. Montreal winters had murdered all my boots.

Teal Schpeil

Oh Donna Karen, you read my mind. Teals and mints and aquas all together for fall with red lipstick and ridiculous coats. This may be my fall inspiration. Just Femme it up a bit, and I'm so there.

L'Wren Scott: Fall 2011

L'Wren Scott's silhouette doesn't change much over time. High-waisted cuts that are made for long legs, femme fatales, and always fitted tight. This is my preferred way to wear skirts and dresses, and I can't get over their fall collection. Such amazing color inspiration! Loving the prints and styling. L'Wren Scott Fall 2011: tiki bars, femme fatales, curtains, and colors done right.

Mixology. Which direction are you going? Both/All of them!
I don't normally like dresses cut like tanks tops, but the print and color gradation makes for perfection here.
Oh how I would love to throw this on for fall weather. Horizontal Stripes, Horizontal schmipes. This is Bohemian 70s and crisp and modern all at once.
Sequins? Check. Red High heels? Check. Aqua Insanity? Check.

Loving this periwinkle blue with rust color combo.
If I were ever to wear anything close to a suit, it would be this.
Bah! This is amazing. Amazing.Who says tropical wackiness belongs in a tiki bar?

Could be curtain-like, but it is elegant and funky. I should be eyeing my curtains more closely.

House-wifey. Bottega Venetta Fall 2011. Holy Marigold!

So I am just now checking out what designers showed for Fall 2011.

Bottega Venetta has always been a fave of mine. I feel like their clothes have the perfect touch of 50's/60's retro housewife without being too heavy-handed.

These totally fit with my desire to not just wear 'fall' colors this fall. The white tights are interesting, I would have thought white tights would be strange or look too mod costumey, but they actually fit with the textures.

Oh and can I have a bouffant like these everyday? K thankx.

The Perfect Creamsicle Confection. Love the monotone with the white tights.
More delicious monotone. I could see Joan from Mad men rocking this

Peachy Keen. This model makes me want to bleach my hair white again.
Roses, sheer layering, and the perfect lady-like look
Holy Marigold! Golden yellow is perfect for fall.
Perfect draping. Love the little cardigan and necklace. Anna Wintour eat your heart out.
